Support GLP

Free to play, because players chip in

No dues, no sponsors, no staff. Everything GLP provides is funded by optional player donations — here's where the money goes.

Where It Goes

What your donation buys

Court reservations

Reserving courts with Seattle Parks and Recreation for open play — weekday evenings and weekend mornings, late March through early October.

Pickleballs

A steady supply of outdoor balls for open play and Beginner Welcome Courts, replaced as they crack and wear through the season.

Nets & maintenance gear

Portable nets, brooms, leaf blowers, garbage cans, and tape-removal tools — the unglamorous equipment that keeps eight courts playable.

Beginner programs

Loaner paddles and supplies for Beginner Welcome Courts, so anyone can try pickleball with zero upfront cost.

Donations and expenses are tracked by GLP's volunteer organizers. Prefer to give time instead of money? Volunteer as a court ambassador — it's every bit as valuable.

Thanks for keeping Green Lake free.

Every ball, net, and reserved court hour comes from players like you. See you at the lake.
