Ambassador Tools

Court Calculator

When the queue gets long, ambassadors split the eight courts between regular play and a challenge or recreational pool. This finds the split that keeps people-per-court closest to even.

Regular Courts

Court Selection

How it works

Enter how many stacks are waiting for regular play and for the challenge or recreational pool, plus the courts available. The calculator counts four players per regular stack and, for challenge courts, two per challenge stack because winning partners stay on. It then tries every possible split and recommends the one that keeps average people-per-court closest to equal, alongside the one-more and one-less scenarios so you can judge the trade-off.

This is the community's own tool, carried over from the old site. Same maths.

Ambassador rules of thumb: the sixth net goes up around four or more stacks waiting, and courts seven and eight get taped around six or more stacks when the courts are dry and the forecast cooperates. See Court Ambassadors for the full duty list.

Queue math, solved.

Now that the courts are split fairly, go stack your paddle.
