GLP runs on players like you
No staff, no dues, no board — just volunteers and donations. Here's how to help keep free pickleball thriving at Green Lake.
Donate
GLP collects no dues — court reservations, pickleballs, nets, and maintenance equipment are all paid for by player donations via Venmo. A few dollars per session goes a long way.
Support GLPVolunteer
Court ambassadors welcome new players and teach the community's conventions; session helpers set up Beginner Welcome Courts. If you know the game and love the community, we need you.
Ways to volunteerAdvocate
GLP's advocacy with Seattle Parks and Recreation helped make Green Lake East the city's first dedicated Pickleball Hub. Campaigns for better surfaces, nets, and winter play are ongoing.
About court advocacyShow up & play
The simplest contribution: come play. Every paddle in the stack makes the case for pickleball at Green Lake stronger — and makes open play better for everyone.
This week's scheduleStay in the loop — the GLP Google Group
Court closures, tournament announcements, advocacy calls-to-action, and community chatter all land on the message board first.
Grab a paddle. We'll see you at the lake.
Open play for all skill levels, no membership — just show up, stack your paddle, and rotate in.
