The Green Lake East Courts

Eight public pickleball courts at the NE corner of Green Lake Park — Seattle's first dedicated Pickleball Hub.

Green Lake East is a public court complex managed by Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), located near the Green Lake Community Center at the NE corner of the park. All are welcome to play doubles or singles pickleball (or tennis) any time the courts are not otherwise reserved by a private party.

The tennis courts each contain two to four pickleball courts. Except for spring-season after-school use by Blanchet High School's junior varsity tennis team, Green Lake East is used mostly for open-play pickleball.

The unreservable court

Tennis court #3 (pickleball courts 3N and 3S) — closest to the lake — cannot be reserved by the general public; it's held outside SPR's reservation system for open play all the time. SPR's court guidelines (posted at the court entrance) state that singles players can hold the court for 1 hour; doubles for 1½ hours.

Getting there

The courts are at 7201 East Green Lake Dr N, Seattle, WA 98115 — see location & directions for parking and transit details.

Grab a paddle. We'll see you at the lake.

Open play for all skill levels, no membership — just show up, stack your paddle, and rotate in.
